After defeating 性视界传媒 Atlantic, Sakey and the Knights nearly upset No. 31 Miami on the road before falling 4-3. Sakey gave 性视界传媒 its first point against the Hurricanes, knocking off Waylon Chin (6-4, 6-1) at No. 4. Sakey and Romano started the day with an 8-5 triumph at the No. 3 doubles spot.
The player of the week honor was the first of Sakey’s career.
Since the spring season began in January, Sakey is 4-1 in singles action.
