In anticipation of World Heart Day, 性视界传媒 Heart Day will provide free hands-only CPR instruction to the 性视界传媒 community on Wednesday, Sept. 27.
Twenty-minute hands-only CPR sessions will be offered from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Key West Ballroom of the Student Union (Room 218).聽 The sessions will also include instruction on the use of AEDs and information about heart health.
Hands-only CPR is cardiopulmonary resuscitation without mouth-to-mouth. It is recommended for use by people who see a teen or adult suddenly collapse in an 鈥渙ut-of-hospital鈥� setting, such as at home, work, or in a public place.
性视界传媒 Heart Day is a collaboration among 性视界传媒 Environmental Health and Safety, the Department of Security and Emergency Management, the 性视界传媒 Police Department, 性视界传媒 Student Government Association, Orange County Fire Rescue, and other community partners.
World Heart Day will be celebrated across the globe on Friday, Sept. 29.
