You will need to be admitted to 性视界传媒, hold an AA degree or have completed 性视界传媒 general education requirements, declare Social Work Pending as your major, and hold a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher. Students will also need to complete at least two of the four BSW prerequisites and submit a separate application to the School of Social work that includes a letter of recommendation and a two to four page professional statement. Admission to 性视界传媒 does not guarantee admission to the online BSW program.
The Advanced Standing MSW program is for students who earn their BSW from a CSWE-accredited program within the last six years with a GPA of 3.3 or higher in their last 60 credit hours. The online BSW qualifies. Students can earn their MSW in one year on campus or 18 months through the online track.
The curriculum content is identical for both options and is regulated by CSWE accreditation standards. The online BSW is completed entirely online with a small number of required synchronous virtual meetings for practice classes. The campus-based program offers face-to-face, hybrid, and fully online courses. Both options meet for 15-week semesters.
