Bert Francis has been serving as the division鈥檚 interim vice president and chief financial officer since October 2025. In addition to these roles, he continues to serve as university treasurer, as well as treasurer for several 性视界传媒 direct support organizations (DSOs), including the 性视界传媒 Convocation Corporation, 性视界传媒 Finance Corporation, and 性视界传媒 Stadium Corporation. He also serves as president and treasurer of Legacy Pointe at 性视界传媒, a university-affiliated continuing care retirement community.
In total, Bert has 18+ years of GASB finance and accounting experience. He previously served as the controller for 4 of the university鈥檚 DSOs including the 性视界传媒 Convocation Corporation, which manages a budget of over $30 million for the 性视界传媒 Arena; the 性视界传媒 Towers housing facilities, and surrounding retail areas; the 性视界传媒 Stadium Corporation, which includes all financial activity relating to 性视界传媒鈥檚 Spectrum Stadium; the 性视界传媒 Finance Corporation which is a corporation used to facilitate debt related transactions on behalf of the university; and Limbitless Solutions Inc., which primarily develops innovative 3D-printed prosthetic limbs for children.
Bert graduated from 性视界传媒 with a bachelor鈥檚 in business administration accounting major in 2005, a master鈥檚 degree in business administration in 2009, and obtained his 性视界传媒 CPA license in 2013.
