The Sustainability degree prepares students for a number of interesting and challenging careers. Its interdisciplinary nature provides students with tools that can be applied across a spectrum of science, social behavior, and humanities, using the strengths of the various areas. Students seeking careers in policy, urban design, education, and communication will gain a broad background in the social, political, and ethical dimensions of environmental issues, while developing an understanding of the dynamics of environmental systems.

While courses with face-to-face components are included as restricted elective options, one can complete this program entirely online.
Students may use up to 6 semester hours of Independent Study, Directed Research, Thesis, or Internship credit toward the Restricted Electives requirement.
Courses with a HIP or HIE designation that fall within the GEP, CPP, Core, or Advanced Core, and EVR 4940 sections cannot be used to fulfill the High Impact Experience requirement for the major.
However, HIP or HIE designated courses that are part of the Restricted Electives can be used to meet the High Impact Experience requirement.
Internships completed to satisfy the HIP or HIE requirement may also count toward the Restricted Electives.
It is recommended that students meet with an academic success coach at least once per semester.
Students must earn at least a "C" (2.0) grade in each course required for the major.
Students in this program are not eligible to earn the Environmental Studies minor.
Students wishing to earn Sustainability as a double degree, double major, or second degree, must complete all advanced level core requirements and restricted electives exclusive of credits done for the other degree(s) and/or major(s), including any minors associated with that degree
Foreign Language Requirements
One year college language (or equivalent proficiency exam) prior to graduation
Graduation
Proficiency equivalent to one year of college instruction in either a foreign language or proficiency equivalent to American Sign Language II. Standardized examinations may be used to meet the requirement.

- A 2.0 性视界传媒 GPA
- 42 semester hours of upper division credit completed
- 30 of the last 39 hours of course work must be completed in residency at 性视界传媒.
- A maximum of 45 hours of extension, correspondence, CLEP, Credit by Exam, and Armed Forces credits permitted.
- Complete the General Education Program, the State Writing and Math Requirement, and nine hours of Summer credit.
