The Leadership Studies (LS) minor is an interdisciplinary academic program that focuses on developing several dimensions of leadership understanding and skills for undergraduate students. The minor builds upon foundational courses with specific aspects of leadership involving communication, collaboration, social relations, politics, and ethics.

- LDR3115 - Contemporary Issues in Leadership (3)
- LDR3103 - Multi-disciplinary Perspectives in Leadership (3)
- LDR4130 - Leadership Skills for the 21st Century (3)
- Both LDR 2001 AND LDR 2002 (4 credits total) may be substituted for LDR 3115.
Leadership Elective

- Earn at least 3 credits from the following types of courses: High Impact Practice (HIP) designated courses (including SL, IE, GL, RI), career foundations, undergraduate research, internship, study abroad/away.
- The High Impact Experience course(s) must be in addition to other courses used for the minor.

- Internship, Co-op, or Independent Study credit cannot be used toward the minor.
- Students cannot complete both the Leadership Studies minor and the Leadership Studies certificate.
