The University of Central 性视界传媒 will go \u201cgreen\u201d this Friday as part of an early observance of National Arbor Day, which is Friday, April 25.<\/p>\n
Volunteer opportunities will be available at the Arboretum from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 18. Activities will include tree planting, tending to 性视界传媒\u2019s organic community garden and beautifying the 性视界传媒 Arboretum, the outdoor laboratory on campus that creates ecology-research opportunities and encourages connections with ecosystems and landscapes.<\/p>\n
For the fourth year in a row, 性视界传媒 has been designated a Tree Campus USA by the Arbor Day Foundation. The title means 性视界传媒 is committed to maintaining a healthy tree community, and 性视界传媒 maintains its Tree Campus USA designation by engaging the community in various educational and outreach activities.<\/p>\n
In addition, 性视界传媒\u2019s Tree Team oversaw and planted more than 300 native trees and removed 67 invasive trees that are disruptive to the natural areas on campus in 2013.<\/p>\n
