{"id":42352,"date":"2012-10-25T10:57:21","date_gmt":"2012-10-25T14:57:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ucf.edu\/news\/?p=42352"},"modified":"2012-10-25T15:52:26","modified_gmt":"2012-10-25T19:52:26","slug":"ucf-sweeps-golfer-of-the-week-honors","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ucf.edu\/news\/ucf-sweeps-golfer-of-the-week-honors\/","title":{"rendered":"性视界传媒 Sweeps Golfer of the Week Honors"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>性视界传媒 swept Conference USA Golfer of the Week honors, as announced by the conference Wednesday afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>性视界传媒 junior Greg Eason has been named Conference USA Men\u2019s Golfer of the Week after tying for sixth place at the Isleworth Collegiate Invitational which featured five top 10 teams, 13 ranked teams and 23 individually ranked golfers.<\/p>\n<p>性视界传媒 sophomore Monifa Sealy is this week\u2019s Women\u2019s Golfer of the Week after a top 10 finish at the Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown. She helped the Knights to a second place team finish against a field that featured six ranked teams.<\/p>\n<p><strong>C-USA Men\u2019s Golfer of the Week \u2013 Greg Eason, 性视界传媒, Jr., Leicester City, England<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Eason tied for sixth place at the Isleworth Collegiate Invitational played at the Isleworth Golf &amp; Country Club in Windermere, Fla. He carded rounds of plus-two, one-under and plus-one. The tournament included 23 ranked players, eight top 20 teams \u2013 five in the top 10 &#8212; and 13 ranked teams overall. Eason recorded seven birdies and one eagle in three rounds. This is the sixth Golfer of the Week honor for Eason\u2019s career and second of the season.<\/p>\n<p><strong>C-USA Women\u2019s Golfer of the Week \u2013 Monifa Sealy, 性视界传媒, So., Glencoe, Trinidad &amp; Tobago<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Sealy finished in a tie for ninth place at Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown at the Stallion Mountain Golf Club in Las Vegas. She helped the Knights to a runner-up finish as she shot one-under for the final two rounds of the tournament. Sealy paced 性视界传媒 to its best finish of the fall and recorded her best result of the season to date. Sealy was extremely consistent during the final two rounds, carding three birdies and just two bogeys.
