Dean Thomas Keon, dean of the College of Business Administration since 1997, has been named the chancellor of Purdue University Calumet. He will begin his new position July 1. Under Keon’s leadership, the college’s endowment has grown tremendously, several endowed chairs were established, and the Kenneth G. Dixon School of Accounting, the DeVos Sport Business Management Program and the Dr. P. Phillips School of Real Estate were created. Enrollment has also increased substantially. When he began in 1997, there were 5,202 students enrolled in the college.
