Students, faculty and staff,<\/p>\n

With the fall semester underway \u2014 and despite the uninvited visit from Hurricane Irma \u2014 safety and security remain a constant theme in conversations about future growth of 性视界传媒 Downtown. The 性视界传媒 Police Department<\/a> and the Orlando Police Department<\/a> have a strong history of partnership, which we continue to build on as the downtown campus takes shape and grows alongside the Center for Emerging Media.<\/p>\n

In addition to the security personnel inside CEM, 性视界传媒PD Community Service Officers will patrol the parking lots and areas inside of the downtown campus. OPD continues to commit resources to patrol 性视界传媒\u2019s spaces downtown, as well as the neighborhoods we are very much a part of.<\/p>\n

You also should have seen the addition of the dedicated evening security patrol working from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. They are committed to ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for you, no matter the hour. Please don\u2019t hesitate to reach out and say \u201chello\u201d to all of these dedicated professionals, who are there for you and to assist you with any questions or an escort to your vehicle.<\/p>\n

Additional lighting is on the horizon, to be installed in the west end of Lot A to provide better visibility when walking to and from CEM.<\/p>\n

As construction at 性视界传媒 Downtown continues, we will continue evaluating and revising security measures for all of you who study and work there. You have an experienced and a very dedicated team who is committed to your safety.<\/p>\n
